2026 Olympiads

This year’s CMO and CJMO were held on Thursday, March 12th.

Status updates:

( Mar 13 )
The competition has completed and marking is now underway.  We estimate we will have results in about one month and will email all students and proctors as soon as they are ready.

The official Problem Sets (Questions) are now available here:  CMO | CJMO 
We’ll post the Official Solutions in due course through this web page.

The competition is ready to start at noon EDT Thursday.  Students should be ready to go.  Proctors will have access to the Problem Set fifteen minutes before start time as described in your earlier email.

Proctors have been emailed the response booklets for their students.  Proctors will get access to the questions at 11:45AM EDT on Thursday (fifteen minutes before the competition starts).

All invitations have now been sent out.

( February 24 )
CMO and CJMO invitations based on the results of the Repêchage have all been sent out.

( January 27 )
We’ve now sent invitations to students whose COMC scores earned them access to the CMO.  If you are expecting an invitation, and don’t have one, check your spam/junk email folder first, then make sure your name is on the list on this page, then contact us if your invitation is still missing.  Additional invitations will be sent when this year’s Repêchage is finished.

CMO invitations based on COMC results and pre-qualifiers will be sent out in late January.
CMO invitations based on Repêchage results will be sent out in late February.
CJMO invitations will also be sent out in late February.

Registrations:

Each invited student will be sent instructions and a link to an online registration form.  Students must recruit an acceptable proctor (generally, a provincially-licensed teacher) to supervise them, and must pass along instructions and a link to the proctor to also fill in a registration form.  Once both people have registered and the proctor’s credentials are verified, we will email a confirmation and followup details within two business days.  Deadline for registration of both people is noon EST on Friday March 6th.
